It's almost impossible to find accommodation closer to the lifts, slopes shops and bars - stroll out of bed in the morning to the lifts opposite, and relax in comfort after your day's skiing as the traffic crawls back down the mountain!

 

There's no need to wait for oversnow transport after a hard day on the Mountain. You can ski to the lift base and be relaxing in under a minute. And even better... the hotel and shops are directly across the road.

Perisher is an easy 5.5 to 6 hour drive from Sydney via Canberra and Cooma or 7 hours from Melbourne with more than half the distance on freeway standard or dual carriage roads.

Motorists are legally required to carry properly fitting chains in any vehicle other than 4WD's in ‘snow-ice' risk sections within the National Park. It's an easy half hour drive from Jindabyne in good weather. Entry to the National Park is $27 per car per day. Annual passes are $190.* (further information on the NPWS Park Use fees can be located at here)
